In this study, we developed an interpretable computer vision method to extract clinically meaningful motor features from video recordings of the finger-tapping MDS-UPDRS task. Our results show how AI-driven digital biomarkers can enable more objective and sensitive assessment of Parkinson’s disease progression.
This work brings together artificial intelligence, healthcare, and meaningful real-world clinical impact. I am truly passionate about this field and enthusiastic about continuing to contribute to it through future research.
